How would you like to make deposits to your Langley FCU savings account right at your school? Maybe you already do!
Langley FCU has partnered with several schools in our area to set up in-school deposit programs. It's part of an exciting program to teach kids about money. Kids just like you learn how to count money, identify different coins and bills, and — best of all — they discover the importance of saving money. We call it "financial literacy".
It works like this.
On special days, the Langley Federal Credit Union mini-branch opens for business. Kids save their money, then go to the mini-branch to make real deposits! They can check their balance, see how much money they’ve saved in their accounts, and even see how dividends help savings grow. No deposit is too small.
LFCU's mini-branch helps students reach for the stars and build a solid foundation for making wise financial decisions. Look below to see our current visitation schedule with participating schools.
