What is Primary Checking?
Primary Checking is your go-to account for everyday financial needs. It’s where you:
1 New membership requires $5 deposited into a Langley savings account.
2 $5 monthly service charge applies. Restrictions on the account include: No Service Center Access, No ATM deposits,
No Online Banking ACH origination, and No Mobile Check Deposit capability. Check acceptance restrictions apply.
The fee will be reimbursed each month when you use your Langley debit card or log in to Online Banking once every month.
3 Essential Checking members will be eligible to upgrade to MyDesign Checking after meeting Primary Checking requirements for 6 months.
Primary Checking is the main checking account where members pay their bills, receive their income, and the account where daily transactions are made.
New membership requires $5 deposited into a Langley savings account. Insured by NCUA.
The Essential Checking account is only available to members within the limited service area of Hampton Roads MSA, Surry County, VA,
Richmond-Petersburg, VA MSA and Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC MSA. Minimum to open an Essential Checking account is $20.
