Langley FCU Offers Debit Card Round-up Program

Beginning today, Langley Federal Credit Union offers a new benefit to their checking account product called "Spend 'n' Save." The Spend 'n' Save Debit Card program is designed to promote wise savings habits to Langley members with checking accounts. The program essentially turns their debit card into an instant savings tool with every purchase by rounding up any debit card purchase to the nearest dollar and automatically transferring that amount to a savings account.

"We recognized how difficult it can be for members to simply start a savings program," stated Senior Vice President Deb Vollmer. "For those who use their Debit cards, this new tool, Spend 'n' Save, will make it easy. Essentially, the more you spend, the more you save."

Members with a Langley Checking Account and a Debit card can participate in Spend 'n' Save by calling the Contact Center at 757-827-5328, or visiting any Langley branch. Spend 'n' Save transfers take place at the end of the business day on which the purchase was made.
