Credit Union Donates $25,000 to American Red Cross for Disaster Relief in Texas

Langley Federal Credit Union donated $25,000 to the American Red Cross to support their relief efforts in the Houston area. Contributions to the American Red Cross will support emergency relief and recovery efforts to help the people impacted by Hurricane Harvey, and may include deploying personnel, sending relief supplies, or providing financial resources.

"As a Credit Union, our philosophy has always been about 'people helping people', so it was only natural for us to reach out to the people of Texas and help," stated Langley President/CEO Tom Ryan. "Our hearts and prayers are with those affected by this devastating natural disaster."

Hurricane Harvey was a category 4 storm that caused severe flooding and devastation stretching along the state's Gulf Coast from Corpus Christi to Houston.
